Mira Nair's film ends up in being yet one more 9/11 inspired story,
in the company of all the predictable elements. However we wish that the
successful filmmaker would have engaged and enthralled us a lot more
like her previous efforts (The Namesake, Mississippi Masala, Salaam
Bombay, and others).
On the whole, The Reluctant Fundamentalist feels like a package delivered to the audience a bit too late in today's world. Recommended for onetime watch, for those who loves to watch film-festival kind of movies!
