Rani to play prostitute in Bhansali's Heera Mandi?

Earlier it was reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to make a film titled as Heera Mandi, which would be based on Lahore's quite famous red-light area. The project didn't take off as the filmmaker couldn't find any suitable actress to play the lead role in it.
