The Khiladi Kumar, Akshay, has just smashed the box-office with his action avatar in the remake of Telugu film Vikramarkadu, titled as Rowdy Rathore, and now he might be seen again in the remake of the hit south movie.
Is sources are to be believed then Akshay Kumar is all set to come in the Hindi remake version of A R Murugadoss' Tamil movie 'Thuppakki'. Whereas the original film is still being filmed in Mumbai and Pune, but apparently the makers are planning to place their sequel on the cards.
As of now nothing is being confirmed, either by the director Murugadoss or by the actor Akshay, but if everything goes fine then the Hindi remake version of Tamil film 'Thuppakki' will be Murugadoss' second Bollywood project after Aamir Khan-starrer movie ‘Ghajini’ and also Akshay's second remake of a south movie as an actor after Prabhu Deva's directorial movie 'Rowdy Rathore'.
'Thuppakki' is a Tamil action thriller based movie, written and directed by A R Murugadoss. Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay is playing the role of an encounter specialist in the film, whereas Kajal Aggarwal is the lead actress. 'Thuppakki' is currently in its production phase and is scheduled to release during mid-august.
